Who are some role models in your life?
My biggest role models are definitely my mom and dad. They’ve always been there for me, teaching me about hard work and discipline. Their support, love, and guidance have made me who I am today, both as an athlete and as a young man.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
When I’m getting hyped up for a game, I listen to Chicken P, but I also keep it calm with Lil Baby. Both get me in the right mindset; it just depends on the vibe.
What are the strengths of your game?
I’m great at reading the game, whether it’s recognizing offensive formations or identifying plays.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best players I’ve ever played with were Kyron Dollb and Royce Rogers. They were straight dogs on the field, their skills were unreal, and they played with a lot of intensity.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
My advice would be to keep your head down and keep pushing, work hard, and always be coachable. Talent will take you far, but your mindset, discipline, and work ethic will get you over the top.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could go anywhere, I’d love to visit Japan. The culture, the food, and the people—everything about it just seems amazing.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I started playing when I was around 4 or 5 years old, so it’s been a part of me for as long as I can remember. I fell in love with it because of the connection I had with my coaches and the brotherhood I built with my teammates, having each other’s backs on and off the field.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Ray Lewis, for sure. His energy and leadership are unmatched, and he always gave everything he had on the field.
