The main role models in my life are my parents and definitely my grandpa. They’ve set a great example for me and helped guide me through life.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
My pregame go-to song before kickoff is “All of the Lights.”
What are the strengths of your game?
The strengths of my game are my twitchiness, my quick hands off the ball, and definitely my ability to rush the passer from any spot along the defensive line.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career is winning the most recent state championship and seeing all of my D-line brothers make huge plays to help the team.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played against is Tucker Kattis from Cincinnati St. X.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
The best advice I would give is to never give up and don’t worry about other people. Don’t let someone else’s success bring you down—use it as motivation to work even harder.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, it would be Bora Bora.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football when I was 5 years old.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, it would be J.J. Watt.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was when Louisville upset Notre Dame at home and we got to rush the field. That was pretty cool.
