Growing up in NE TN I always looked up to Peyton Manning and Jason Witten. Jason is from a town about 45 minutes from where I live so I always looked up to him for that reason and because he’s a TE.

What high school is your biggest rival?

At Christ School our biggest rival is Asheville School. At my old school, Dobyns Bennett, our biggest rival was Science Hill.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I’m kinda basic when it comes to pregame music. I’ll listen to Dreams and Nightmares and First Day Out like everyone else. Usually I’ll just listen to what we got playing in the locker room.

What is your offseason training like?

During basketball season I’ll play school basketball and lift on days we don’t have games. Once that ends I’ll start doing conditioning and lifting with the team. I try to get on the field to work on route running and footwork as much as possible once basketball ends.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

My last year at DB we were playing Science Hill and no one gave us a shot to win the game, but we came out and executed our game plan and won and broke a 6 game losing streak to them.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

I feel like at the HS level I’m able to block and catch effectively, as I transition to college I’m hoping to add strength, speed, and quickness to keep that versatility and make it hard on the coaches to take me off the field.

What made UCF stand out from other schools?

The opportunity that UCF gave me football wise was really unique. I have a great relationship with all the coaches and it just felt right whenever I talked ball with them or just talked to them in general.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at UCF?

I want to become the best Charlie Browder I can be. I want to contribute the best I can and help get back to New Years 6 bowls and possibly the CFP.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Probably LeBron, he’s my favorite athlete of all time so it’d be really cool to meet him.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

As a fan it’d be watching the Cavs come back from 3-1 in the 2016 Finals. I was at a team camp for HS basketball and was able to watch Game 7 with my teammates and that was really cool.
