Mason Joshua is a 3 Star recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Forney High School. Joshua is ranked as the 610th best recruit in the nation and is ranked as a top 60 Offensive Tackle in the nation as well. In addition, Joshua is listed as a top 90 recruit in the state of Texas and is listed as a top 10 Offensive Tackle in the state of Texas. He is committed to play at Arizona.
Who are some role models in your life?
A role model to me is my father.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
A few artists I listen to pregame are Bak Jay and NLE Choppa.
What are the strengths of your game?
I think a few of my strengths are my long arms, which are helpful in pass protection by keeping defenders out of reach, my footwork, which I’ve been working on for a long time, and my athleticism.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory would probably be beating Longview at their place this year.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I’d give is to keep your head down and keep working. Show that you are a dominant force on the field, and colleges will notice.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could go anywhere, it would probably be Japan because I like anime a lot.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was around ten years old when I fell in love with the game. Before a game, the atmosphere and realizing that the guys I’m playing with are more than just friends, they’re family. That made me fall in love with it.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, it would probably be Trent Williams, one of the greatest to do it. I’d love to learn from him and see what his day-to-day is like.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment was probably the whole Eagles vs. Chiefs game. Seeing such a dominant performance by a great offensive line and team was amazing to watch.
