Marana’s Star Wideout: Sean Roebuck

Sean Roebuck is a 3 Star recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Marana High School. Roebuck is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the nation as well. In addition, Roebuck is listed as a top 30 recruit in the state of Arizona and is listed as a top 10 Wide Receiver in the state of Arizona. He currently holds offers from Washington and Maryland.

Who are some role models in your life?
Some role models in my life are definitely my two brothers, Dezmen and Zay, and my mom and dad.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
I listen to a lot of country before all my games.

What are the strengths of your game?
My strengths in the game are that I’m a team player, a good blocker, and if the ball is anywhere in the air, I’m going to get it.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
I would say last year’s first playoff game against Hamilton. On the first play, I took a curl 75 yards for a touchdown.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I’ve got to say my brother Dezmen Roebuck.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I would give is to keep your grades up and be a good person both in school and out of school.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, it would be Hawaii.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was around 4 or 5 when I fell in love with the game.

What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
I would say watching my older sister play flag football, she’s a beast.
