Who are some role models in your life?
My parents and my older brother are my role models. My dad and my brother inspired me to play sports, especially football.
What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
Before the game, I’ll listen to artists like Jhené Aiko and Rod Wave or something calm like that. Then, right before we walk out, I switch to YoungBoy Never Broke Again to get me hyped.
What are the strengths of your game?
I have really good ball skills and top-end speed. I play with a lot of strength and vision, and I have a good ability to break tackles.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is scoring three touchdowns and all of our team’s points in a playoff game against Riverview Gardens during my sophomore year.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with is my cousin, Kingston Miles. We played together in middle school.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
I would tell them, “How you do one thing is how you do everything.” Push yourself to be great more than anyone else does because, at the end of the day, only you determine your capabilities.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was very young. Ever since I first put on pads in first grade, there was a smile on my face. I didn’t know I was in love with the game then, but looking back, I have been ever since that moment.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would meet LeBron James.
What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
LeBron James’ chase-down block on Andre Iguodala in the NBA Finals.
