Who are some role models in your life?
The biggest role model in my life is my mother. She’s been by my side my entire life and that’s why I love this game so much, it’s something she taught me.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
It all depends, sometimes I listen to YoungBoy, sometimes Rod Wave, and sometimes I don’t even listen to music. It just depends on the vibe.
What are the strengths of your game?
My speed and strength are big parts. I’m not the biggest back, but I make up for it in the weight room. I have very natural twitch to me as well.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Freshman year winning the district championship with some guys who taught me a lot about the game.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best I’ve played with is Ryker Jones, who’s now a linebacker at Princeton. Another is Caleb Brewer, a defensive lineman at Penn State. Against, I’d say my guy Marcus Jones from Haverford who’s a safety committed to Tennessee.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Just work. Don’t try to rush anything. I had 3 D1 offers after my junior season now, and now I’m around 30. Rankings and stars don’t matter. I’ve played against and trained against 4 star and 5 stars and not a single one was better than me, so just take stuff like that as disrespectful motivation and use it towards your advantage. Always believe you are the best in the room because if you don’t no one will.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Probably Greece. I’ve seen some stuff about it and it’s beautiful.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
Around 4 years old.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’ve met some real legends and I’m close with a couple of them. If I could meet one, I’d probably say Jahmyr Gibbs. I try to model my game after him.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
Most recently, probably that Knicks run. Their comeback at MSG was ridiculous.
