Roman Catholic’s Star Offensive Tackle: Sebastian Waddell

Sebastian Waddell is a 3 Star recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Roman Catholic High School. Waddell is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked as a top 90 Offensive Tackle in the nation as well. In addition, Waddell is listed as a top 40 recruit in the state of Pennsylvania and is listed as a top 10 Offensive Tackle in the state of Pennsylvania. He holds offers from schools such as South Carolina, Syracuse and USF.

Some role models in my life are my mom and my dad.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
A couple artists I listen to pregame are YoungBoy Never Broke Again, RMC Mike, BossMan Dlow, and DLow.

What are the strengths of your game?
I feel like a strength in my game is definitely my pass blocking and my ability with double-team blocks.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career was winning the state championship this past season.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played against was Griff Galloway from Providence Day.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I would give to an aspiring D1 athlete is to stay humble and keep working hard.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, I would want to go to the Bahamas.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 14 or 15 years old when I fell in love with the game because that’s when I started playing.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, I would want to meet Trent Williams.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was when the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018.
