Levi Babin is a 3 Star recruit who is an Athlete at Episcopal High School. Babin is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked as a top 90 Athlete in the nation as well. In addition, Babin is listed as a top 25 recruit in the state of Virginia and is listed as the #2 Athlete in the state of Virginia. He is committed to play at Maryland.
Who are some role models in your life?
My biggest role models are my parents because I have seen them work hard day in and day out my whole life. Their hard work inspires me to never settle and to reach my full potential.
What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
My favorite artists to listen to before a game are NBA YoungBoy, Lil Durk, and Future. Their music gets me hyped up and ready to attack on the field.
What are the strengths of your game?
My strengths are my patience in coverage, speed, and field vision.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career so far is scoring a touchdown in our rivalry game last season.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I have ever played with is John Rogers. He was a great captain at my high school, played tight end, and now plays for UVA. He taught me a lot about how to involve everyone on the team as a leader.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
The advice I would give is to train and work out consistently without always expecting immediate rewards. It is important to always do the work and never become complacent. That is what keeps you ahead of the game.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, it would be somewhere in Africa. I have always wanted to go there and see the wildlife.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 5 when I fell in love with the game and haven’t looked back since. Falling in love with the game at a young age and learning more about it every day has built my football IQ. It makes the game feel natural every time I step on the field.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would love to meet Michael Jordan and ask him for advice on how he took the game he loved so far.
What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was when the Washington Nationals won the World Series in 2019.
