Max Markofski is a 3 Star recruit who plays Tight End at Mission Viejo High School. Markofski is ranked as the 774th best recruit in the nation and is ranked as a top 40 Tight End in the nation as well. In addition, Markofski is listed as a top 60 recruit in the state of California and is listed as the #3 Tight End in the state of California. He is committed to play at Arizona.

Who are some role models in your life?
I would say some role models in my life are my dad and my uncle. I strive to be the men that they are.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
I love to listen to the Foo Fighters.

What are the strengths of your game?
I would say my strengths are that I am tall and strong, and I’m able to run fast.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career is balling out when I just came back from my injury.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I have ever played with is Luke Fahey, my quarterback.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
I would say to an aspiring D1 athlete: do not give up. I’ve had my run of bad luck with injuries, and there were definitely times I wanted to give up.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, it would be Hawaii. I know it’s basic, but I love to surf.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I honestly fell back in love with the game this year. Like I said, I battled injuries, and when I came back this year, it reset my love for the game.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Troy Polamalu. I used to rock #43.
