Who are some role models in your life?
My role models in life are my parents. Both of them played and ran professionally, and I want to be just like them.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to slow and calm stuff like Daniel Caesar, Adele, and Drake, people like them.
What are the strengths of your game?
My strength is definitely my speed. I run a 10.4 100m, so when I break tackles and get open in the field, nobody can catch me.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career had to be when we played Arlington, our rival school, my junior year and went into overtime. The stadium pulse was off the charts, and we came out with a win.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best players I’ve ever played against had to be either D-end Zane Rowe from Guyer or Carter Buck from Lake Travis, they’re both incredible.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I would give to an aspiring athlete is just to be patient. It’s going to come sooner than you think. Also, never give up even when you think you can’t make it or do it, you can’t quit, and you have to keep going.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would definitely go to Cuba or Hawaii. Those places are amazing, and I’ve always wanted to go there.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I would say I was about 13 when I fell in love with the game. At first, I hated contact and was scared to hit or get hit, but eventually it felt good to hit somebody.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would definitely want to meet Saquon Barkley, Ashton Jeanty, Jeremiah Love, or Aaron Jones.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was when my dad and my family went to the TCU Big 12 Championship game. That game was crazy and an amazing experience.
