Westminster Christian’s Next Star Running Back: Amarri Irvin

Amarri Irvin is a 2027 recruit who plays Running Back at Westminster Christian High School. Irvin is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Running Backs in the class as well. In addition, Irvin is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Florida and is listed among one of the top Running Backs in the state of Florida. He currently holds offers from Louisville and Nebraska.

Who are some role models in your life?

My dad and my brothers are my biggest role models. My dad played in the league and had a great college career. One of my brothers is committed to play at Stanford University in the fall, and my other brother who plays basketball works harder than anyone I know.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Rod Wave and Lil Baby are the main artists I listen to before games.

What are the strengths of your game?

I think my aggressiveness and anticipation are the strongest parts of my game.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory was when we beat True North this year. A lot of people expected us to lose, so it was definitely a great moment in my career

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Never take the game for granted. Always give your best and be patient, everyone has their moment.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere, I’d go to Hawaii.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I fell in love with the game at 3 years old.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would want to meet Derrick Henry.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

When Alabama beat Georgia in overtime in the National Championship.
