West Linn’s Star Quarterback: Sam Leavitt

Sam Leavitt is a 3 Star recruit who plays Quarterback at West Linn High School. Leavitt is ranked among the top 900 recruits in the nation and is ranked among the top 50 Quarterbacks in the nation as well. In addition, Leavitt is listed as the #3 recruit in the state of Oregon and is listed as the #1 Quarterback in the state of Oregon. Sam Leavitt is committed to play at Washington State next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Aaron Rodgers for sure has always been my favorite player up until recently when it switched to Joe Burrow.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Never needed no help- Lil Baby is my go to

What is your offseason training like?

I train at New Athlete Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I run and throw on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and then take Sunday off.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory would have to be Sophomore year throwing a 50 yard post to go into overtime.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played with is Darrius Clemons, and the best player I’ve ever played against is Jaxson Dart.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

My reaction to my first offer was just an overwhelming feeling, and I started having tears of joy and was able to experience it with my dad.

What is your favorite food?

Filet steak

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

My sports hero would probably be MJ.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

As a fan, it would be seeing my brother play for the Raiders.
