Kailon Walker is a 3 Star recruit who plays Defensive End at West Brook High School. Walker is ranked as the 342nd best recruit in the class of 2027 and is ranked as a top 40 Defensive End in the class as well. In addition, Walker is listed as a top 50 recruit in the state of Texas and is listed as the #5 Defensive End in the state of Texas. He currently holds offers from Texas Tech, UTSA and Lamar.
Who are some role models in your life?
My mom, my cousin, and Micah Parsons. They each inspire me in different ways and push me to become a better version of myself.
What artists do you listen to pregame to get hyped up?
YoungBoy, and really anything with high energy and an up-tempo vibe to get locked in.
What are the strengths of your game?
I’ve got great stamina, I can run, and I bring a strong combination of speed and power off the edge.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Jumping up to block a pass off the edge. It was one of those moments that reminded me I belong in this game.
Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against?
Jonah Williams.
What advice would you give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Don’t stop, don’t take breaks. Build good habits and stay consistent. That’s the mindset I’m locked into every day.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Japan.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I started playing at 15, but I fell in love with football fast. The thrill of it is just unreal.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Micah Parsons.

Watching the Eagles beat Patrick Mahomes.
