The TVHS Star Freshman: Kymani Weathers

Kymani Weathers is a 2026 recruit who plays Small Forward at The Villages High School. Weathers is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Small Forwards in the class as well. In addition, Weathers is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Florida and is listed among one of the top Small Forwards in the state of Florida. He currently holds an offer from Jacksonville.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some of my role models are of course my parents, my grandmother Connie, my trainer Bryan Rackley aka Breeze, and Steph Curry.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Some of the artists I listen to pregame are Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Trippie Redd, J Cole, and Kendrick Lamar among others .

What are the strengths of your game?

The strengths of my game are defense and rebounding, but I’m working on getting better with guard skills.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory so far in my career was winning my 1st AAU medal when I was 10.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

Some of the toughest players I’ve played against are AJ Dybansta and Sam Walters. Some of the best players I’ve played with are Kadir Rackley aka Boom Boom, Sam Walters and Magic Mel Jemel Thomas.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Some advice I would give to fellow D1 Athletes is anything is possible if you put your mind to it and work hard. Dedication can get you far.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I can travel anywhere I would like to go to Puerto Rico and back to the Bahamas again.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I fell in love with the game when I was 6 or 7, 1st watching Steph Curry, my favorite player.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Steph Curry or Michael Jordan.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports memory as a fan would be watching Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors win their 1st championship in 2016.
