Who are some role models in your life?
One of my biggest role models is definitely my mom. She used to be a single mother raising three boys, working three jobs at a time just to provide for us. Her strength and sacrifice push me every day.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Two artists I always listen to before games are Chief Keef and NBA YoungBoy. Their energy gets me hyped and locked in, ready to go out there and perform.
What are the strengths of your game?
One of my biggest strengths is my ability to run after the catch. I take pride in that because anyone can catch the ball—but it’s what you do after the catch that separates the good from the great.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
One of my favorite moments was scoring my first touchdown last season. It felt so surreal—like everything I worked for was coming together in that moment.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Keep working, no matter what. Just because others around you are getting recognition doesn’t mean you won’t. Everyone’s journey is different. Stay locked in, bet on yourself, and don’t give up.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could go anywhere, it would definitely be Jamaica. I’ve always wanted to visit—it just seems like a vibe.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I can’t give you an exact age, but I remember being 5 years old, outside every day playing football with my older brothers and friends at the apartment complex. My family saw the talent early, and from that point on, I never looked back.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was going to the Pro Bowl. Just being able to meet players and watch all my favorites on the field at the same time—that was an unforgettable experience.
