In addition, Thatcher is listed as the #5 recruit in the state of Nevada and is listed as the #1 Linebacker in the state of Nevada. He holds offers from schools such as Oklahoma, USC and Texas A&M.

Who are some role models in your life?

My biggest role model is my dad, he’s taught me everything I know. From the time I was little, he pushed me to be the man I am today and love the game.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Usually I’ll listen to 21 Savage and NBA YoungBoy, as well as some country music like Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs.

What are the strengths of your game?

My strengths are my speed to reading and reacting, sideline to sideline speed, getting off blocks, and always making the tackle. I had 133 tackles last season in 11 games.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory was a game against Desert Pines last year. Going for a 2 point conversion to win the game and then feeling and hearing the crowd roaring as we made the final stop against the teams final drive.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

Germie Bernard, a former 4 star receiver who’s at Washington now. He was very difficult to play against, he’s a stud.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Always keep your head down and keep grinding. Nothing in life comes easy, have faith and good things will come. You’ve got to be obsessive about the game and want it more than anything.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would want to go to Hawaii. It’s straight up beautiful there and I love the beach.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

When I was 4 years old

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would want to meet Luke Kuechly, he’s one of my sports idols. His whole mentality and the way he plays the game is what I aspire to be like.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment, was when Tennessee beat Alabama on a game winning field goal. Watching how the fans ran onto the field gave me chills.
