Tate Wallace is a 4 Star recruit who plays Linebacker at Regina High School. Wallace is ranked as the 150th best recruit in the class of 2027 and is ranked as a top 10 Linebacker in the class as well. In addition, Wallace is listed as the #2 recruit in the state of Iowa and is listed as the #1 Linebacker in the state of Iowa. He currently holds offers from Minnesota and Miami (OH).

Who are some role models in your life?
My brother Jack Wallace. He’s always been a big mentor and someone I look up to in all areas of life.

Tee Grizzley and Meek Mill—both of them bring the energy I need to get locked in before a game.

What are the strengths of your game?
My physicality, size, and hands are key parts of my game. I try to bring toughness and consistency every snap.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
Playing junior high football. Those years built the foundation and made me fall deeper in love with the game.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve faced is Drew Miller, who’s now a punter at Georgia.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Trust in God and keep grinding every single day. The work adds up, and your faith will carry you through the tough moments.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
New York City. I’ve always wanted to experience the energy and culture there.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was six years old when football became my passion.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
LeBron James. He’s one of the greatest ever, and I’d love to learn from his mindset and work ethic.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
Watching my high school win a state championship when I was in 6th grade. That moment really inspired me and lit a fire in me to chase the same goal.
