Who are some role models in your life?
I would say the only role model I take after is Jesus—because without him, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
Definitely BabyCheifDoiT, Screwly G, Nardo Wick, and Jdot.
What are the strengths of your game?
I would definitely say my strength and speed. Most people usually only have one—either strength or speed—but I feel like I have a good combination of both. Being able to use strength one play and speed the next is really useful because most people don’t expect it.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory has got to be my first high school game against Raines. The environment and the amount of people there was something I had only dreamt of beforehand.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with is definitely Naeem Burroughs, my current teammate. The best I’ve played against would be Brysen Wright.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I would give is to keep your head down and work. It won’t always be easy or fun, but focusing on working out, your diet, and recovery will take you further than talent alone ever could.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I’d definitely want to go to the Maldives or Bali for sure.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 4 years old when I started tackle football, and to be honest, I hated it at first. But I fell in love with it around 6 years old, when I realized it wasn’t just youth football—that I could actually do this as a career. From then on, I knew this is what I wanted.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Definitely Herschel Walker. Even though he doesn’t play my position, he’s the reason I wear number 34—and I’ve worn it since the day I started football 12 years ago.
What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
My favorite sports moment is when the Dawgs won the 2022 national championship with arguably the best walk-on in college football, Stetson Bennett, and had Jordan Davis. That era was different. I’m a die-hard Georgia fan for sure.
