Who are some role models in your life?
My role models are my parents and older brothers. My dad played in the NFL, and he taught me what it really takes to get there. My brothers have always pushed me—even when I got beat every time, they made sure I kept getting better.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get hyped up?
I listen to Rod Wave and Kendrick Lamar. Their music helps me get locked in and focused.

What are the strengths of your game?
My size and athleticism. I’m a 6’4″ corner with solid speed, and I feel like that allows me to match up well with most receivers.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
Scoring my first tackle football touchdown—a 60-yard run. I’ll never forget that feeling.

Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against in your career?
My brother, Samson Gash. He’s a D1 receiver, and the fastest and quickest player I’ve ever had to guard. He pushes me like no one else.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Put in the work so that you can be confident in your play. Confidence comes from preparation.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Japan. I’m really interested in the culture and would love to experience it in person.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I’ve loved the game all my life. With a dad who played in the NFL and a mom who was a D1 volleyball player, I was raised around competition. Growing up battling my brothers just made me fall deeper in love with it.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Kobe Bryant. Even though he’s no longer with us, his mindset and work ethic have always inspired me—no excuses, just work.

What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
Watching my oldest brother, Elijah Gash, play in the NLL (National Lacrosse League). I’ll never forget when he got in a fight during a game and knocked the guy out. That moment was wild.
