Who are some role models in your life?
One of my biggest role models is my brother. He paved the way for me to come to the U.S. and follow in his footsteps.
What are the strengths of your game?
Pass protection is definitely one of my strengths. I’ve mostly taught myself the fundamentals, with guidance from my brother over the past three years. As someone coming from Germany, learning to play with physicality has been a big focus for me—and I’m always looking to improve.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Winning the state championship last year. That’s a moment I’ll never forget.
Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against?
Luke Wafle from Hun School. He’s a great player and competitor.
What advice would you give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Work hard, and always go beyond what your coaches ask of you. Extra effort makes the difference.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Japan. I’m really fascinated by the culture and would love to experience it firsthand.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was seven, back in 2015, when my brother came home from the U.S. and told me about American football. I didn’t start playing until I was 14, with a club team.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Probably Manuel Neuer—I grew up a Bayern Munich fan and loved watching him. From a football perspective, someone like Joe Thomas would be amazing to learn from.
What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
Watching my brother play college football at Auburn.
