Who are some role models in your life?
My biggest role model is definitely my mom. She sacrifices so much for me and always shows up for me in all areas of my life.
What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
I listen to a lot of Lucki, Lil Baby, EBK Jaaybo, and BAK Jay before games. But right before I walk out to the field, I listen to “Hometown Glory” by Adele.
What are the strengths of your game?
I’d say my athleticism and footwork are really strong. I can get to my spots quickly, stay in front of defenders, and play with a physical mindset.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite moment is when I won state last year. Even though I got hurt and didn’t play a lot in the regular season, I still put in a lot of work, and I was glad to see it paid off.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with is Tavita Nonu. Going against him every day in practice pushes me to get better every single rep.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Stay consistent, even when nobody is watching. Work hard every day, and don’t let setbacks stop you because your opportunity can come at any time.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d love to visit either Mexico or France. I’ve always wanted to experience the culture, food, and see what those countries are like.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
The first time I remember putting on a football helmet was when I was six years old, and I’ve been in love with it ever since.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would want to meet Trent Williams.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When the Seahawks won the Super Bowl.
