What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Some artists I like to listen to before the game are Chief Keef and NBA YoungBoy. Their music helps me lock in and get into the right mental state to compete.
What are the strengths of your game?
One of my biggest strengths is my versatility. I can play deep at safety to defend the pass, break up throws, and come down with interceptions. I’m also comfortable playing in the box to stop the run and make tackles. Plus, with my hands, I can slide in and make plays at wide receiver too.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory so far is getting an interception in the bowl game against St. Paul’s. That pick helped seal the win for us—it was a huge moment.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played against is probably Bo McCormick from BBN. He was tough to bring down and played with a crazy motor. Now he’s at BC.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Don’t worry about what everyone else thinks. Just keep your head down, stay focused, and outwork everyone in silence.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d go to Turks and Caicos. The clear blue water and peaceful vibe just seem like the perfect place to reset and clear your mind.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football when I was about 11 or 12. It gave me a way to release my energy and aggression—and the highs of winning and the lessons from losing made me love it even more.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’d want to meet Michael Phelps or Usain Bolt. They trained every day for years just to compete in one or two races. That kind of discipline and delayed success is something I really admire.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When the Patriots came back to beat the Falcons in the 2017 Super Bowl.
