Definitely my grandfather. He’s the one who introduced me to football, and I carry everything I do with him in mind. I play for him.

King Von—his energy always gets me in the right mindset before a game.
What are the strengths of your game?
My athleticism. I’m a big guy, but I can move. That combination gives me an edge on the field.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Winning the state championship this past season. That moment was unforgettable and everything we worked for.
What advice would you give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Keep grinding and chase your dreams. Prove your haters wrong and never stop believing in yourself.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Japan—for sure. I really want to try the food and experience the culture.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
First grade. From the moment I started playing, I knew football was what I wanted to do.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Trent Williams. I’d love to learn from him—he’s one of the best to ever do it at his position.
What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
Watching the Seahawks win the Super Bowl.
