JT Houston is a 3 Star recruit who plays Defensive End at Warren High School. Houston is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked among the top 40 Defensive Ends in the class as well. In addition, Houston is listed as a top 60 recruit in the state of California and is listed as the #1 Defensive End in the state of California. He currently holds an offer from Colorado State.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
I was inspired by many NFL players but the main one who really inspired me was Von Miller.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I like to listen to Lil Baby during pregame.
What is your offseason training like?
My offseason training has been crazy. All offseason I’ve been working and working day by day to become better at the sport.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career is when we played against Dominguez High School. I wasn’t at practice all week due to me having Covid but I tested negative the day before the game and they let me play. That game I had 4 sacks with a scoop and score.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I have ever played with or against has to be my boy Nico Iamaleava.
What was your reaction to getting your first offer?
I was very excited and proud of myself, but at the same time still humble because this isn’t the only one for me. I have to keep doing what I do on the football field to get more.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food has to be nachos, I grew up loving them.
When did you realize you were talented at football?
I realized I was really talented at football when I was about 8.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero it would be Von Miller for sure.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan has to be when Georgia beat Alabama in the CFP National Championship.
