Who are some role models in your life?
One of my biggest role models is my father. He has always been a great supporter and is truly family-driven. I don’t know what I would do without him.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I like to listen to Rod Wave. He’s very sentimental and has a lot of great quotes to live by in his music.
What are the strengths of your game?
A strength in my game is pressing and having good footwork off the line. I believe my footwork is something special that sets me apart.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is probably from the TCU camp, where I earned four D1 offers in just one day. I was extremely excited and truly felt blessed for the opportunity.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best players I’ve ever gone against were probably Andrew Marsh and Boobie Feaster. The experience was surreal, and competing against highly rated players at a young age has pushed me to grow. Those matchups make me better, and I feel like I’ve developed a lot because of them.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
My advice to young athletes trying to go D1 is to stay consistent, surround yourself with good people, and really listen to your parents. They just want the best for you, and if you work hard and take their guidance, it will take you far.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
One place I really want to go is Green Bay to experience a Packers snow game. I think that would be a lot of fun.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
When I was 3 years old, I truly fell in love with the game. My dad played a big role in that; he loved football and passed that passion on to me. We would watch the Saints together, and my favorite player at the time was Michael Thomas, who inspired me to play. Every time I put on the pads, my love for the game grew. My dad has always pushed me to chase my goals and make the right choices, reminding me that football is a better path than making bad decisions.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one athlete, it would probably be LeBron James. Even though I don’t play basketball, he’s been a big influence in my life. His mentality and love for the game are on a different level, and I feel like that separates great athletes both mentally and physically. He’s taught me to never give up and always give my full effort.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite memory as a fan is probably experiencing my first Texas A&M football game. Going with my family made it even more special. It was surreal—the atmosphere was unbelievable, the stadium was so loud, and it felt like a real moment. That experience gave me even more passion to play the game, and I truly loved it.
