Behren Morton is a 4 Star recruit who plays Quarterback at Eastland High School. Morton is ranked as the 103rd best recruit in the nation and is a top 10 Pro Style Quarterback in the nation as well. In addition, Morton is listed as a top 20 recruit in the state of Texas and is listed as a top 3 Quarterback in the state of Texas. He is committed to play at Texas Tech next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Growing up I looked up to Tim Tebow. I just love the way he played the game and how competitive he was.

What high school is your biggest rival?

Comanche High School.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

During school on game day I listen to country and after school I listen to rap.

What is your offseason training like?

There’s not much off-season training for me. I play five sports so I am very busy, but during the summer I get my arm in shape.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

I hope to take my energy, competitiveness and work ethic.

What made Texas Tech stand out from other schools?

I just love the atmosphere of Texas Tech. Everyone is bought into Tech and the coaches are very personable. We are going to get things turned around.
