In addition, Morton is listed as a Top 20 recruit in the state of Texas and is listed as a Top 3 Quarterback in the state as well. Behren Morton is committed to play at Texas Tech next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Growing up I looked up to Tim Tebow. I just love the way he played the game and how competitive he was.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

During school on game day I listen to country and after school I listen to rap.

What is your offseason training like?

There’s not much off-season training for me I play five sports so I am very busy but during the summer is when I get my arm in shape.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

I hope to take to take my energy my competitiveness am I willing to outwork other teams.

What made Texas Tech stand out from other schools?

I just love the atmosphere of Texas Tech everyone is bought in to Tech and the coaches are very personable and are going to get things turned around.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Russell Wilson, and get to learn the mental part better
