The Next Great Temple QB: Justin Lynch

Justin Lynch was born in, Chicago Illinois, and plays Quarterback at Mount Carmel High School. Lynch is ranked top 50 at his position and top 40 in the state of Illinois. He is commited to play at Temple next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Growing up, I did not really have one particular player I looked up to, but if I had to say it would be Aaron Rodgers, as he can make throws from anywhere on the field.

What high school is your biggest rival?

Our biggest rivals we play are Brother Rica and Marist as it is always fun playing them.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I will listen to all different types of music before games, it depends how I am feeling, but the main song is ¨In The Air Tonight¨ by Phil Collins.

What is your offseason training like?

Right now getting out and throwing with a few guys every other day and working out in my garage.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

Favorite memory so far, is winning the state championship.

What parts of your high school game do you want to transition to the college level?

The ability to get outside the pocket and make plays.

What made Temple stand out from other schools?

When I went on the visit to Temple the facility and everything they had to offer was great and also the coaches are all great guys. I just fell in love with the program.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Temple?

Number one thing is to make the team better for sure as that is the best thing to do.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would want to meet Baker Mayfield as I love the way he played in college and his attitude.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Favorite sports moment was when I was younger and watching my brother play on ESPN and it motivates me everyday.
