D´Andre Davis was born in, Indianapolis, Indiana and played Small Forward at Lawrence Central High School. Davis is an ESPN Top 100 recruit. He is committed to play at Louisville this fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NBA Players?

Yes, Kobe was a player that really inspired me. His hard work, his drive, his mentality is something that I want to install into myself. And it is something that drives me.

What high school is your biggest rival?

Lawrence North was my biggest high school rival, given that we are both in the Lawrence township.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

My favorite rapper is Lil Durk so I listen to lots of him and I really like Meek Mill. I will throw some NBA Yougboy in there some Lil Baby, some Polo G, and some G Herbo in there as well.

What is your offseason training like?

Offseason, I am in the gym 24/7 if I am able to get in the gym in there. I also lift weights and do a lot of conditioning as well.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

My favorite memory from high school would have to be winning a sectional championship which my school had not done in a while.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

My versatility. I can effect the game in many different ways. I can score on all 3 levels. I play both ways. I am vocal and I bring energy. I think my all around game translates.

What made Louisville stand out from other schools?

Louisville showed me a lot of love early and it stuck out. This is a family enviornment and family means everything to me. Also I know I can grow and become the player I want to be there.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the court during your time at Louisville?

I want to be able to get some ACC Player Of The Week award like David Johnson was able to. I want to be able to get ACC Freshman Of The Year. I want to be able to win a National Championship. I want to get my degree in sports administration off the court.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

The sports hero I would want to meet would be Lebron James.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Probably when Kris Jenkins hit the game winning shot for Villanova to win the championship against UNC.
