Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
Not really, I grew up playing soccer and I have only been playing football for 2 years so there was not a specific NFL player that I looked up to.
What high school is your biggest rival?
Probably Butler or Richmond County. We play Butler every year but Richmond County over the past two years, it has turned into a rivalry for sure.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I do not have specific songs in mind but I listen to a lot of Meek Mill, DaBaby, and Young Thug.
What is your offseason training like?
I train a lot with Dan Orner who focuses on my form/technique. By myself I will go kick 3-4 times a week and then have one day with a live snap and hold from my teammates.
What is your favorite memory of your high school career?
Sophomore year I kicked a 44 yard field goal against Butler in the playoffs when it was super rainy and windy.
What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?
I think my ability to block out noise and be super focused is one thing I hope to use in college too. Also with the attitude that every kick is the same.
What made Wake Forest stand out from other schools?
The Wake Forest staff showed their interest very early in me. The program has tons of upside and the combination of athletics and academics is hard to beat anywhere else in my opinion, and it is close to home.
What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Wake Forest?
I want to get my degree from Wake and set records and help my team as much as possible.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I wish I could have met Kobe. His work ethic and faith in god really stood out to me and it would have been an honor to meet him and learn.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When Wake football beat UNC last year. I ahve not really had a college team to root for but now that I do, I get super excited when we play in-state rivals.
