Manoah Faupusa is a 2026 recruit who plays Defensive Tackle at Los Alamitos High School. Faupusa is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Defensive Tackles in the class as well. In addition, Faupusa is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of California and is listed among one of the top Defensive Tackles in the state of California. He currently holds an offer from San Jose State.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
Growing up I was inspired by my uncle Troy Polamalu. I loved the way he played and his mindset he had going into everything no matter if it was practice or a game.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
A song that I listen to pregame to get hyped would be Sittin’ Inda Bank by Young Go.
What is your offseason training like?
During my offseason training I focus on getting my strength up and I would do all my field work with either Coach Kelly Talavou from Servite or Coach Mia from Bosco at Project 9. I also play Rugby to work on my conditioning and to get my speed and footwork up.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career would either be getting my first offer or getting a pick 6.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I have played with would be Trent Mosley and the best player I have played against would be Tomu Topui.
What was your reaction to getting your first offer?
When I got my first offer I was shocked. I was out of words and didn’t believe that it was real. I was so grateful and thanked god for everything.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is peruvian.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, I would like to meet Aaron Donald.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan, would be when the Steelers won the Super Bowl in 2009.
