Who are some role models in your life?
Definitely my parents and my sister. Recently I also met Tiera McCowan who is definitely a role model and someone I really look up to as far as modeling my game after and a lot of people actually compare our game and how similar they are.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I like a lot of Country music
What are the strengths of your game?
Definitely my touch around the rim and my defense. With my height and wingspan I impact a lot of different things throughout the game and it might not always be my scoring, but instead it could be my defense or altering shots.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
The most recent one I can think of is last season when I had my career high of 27 points.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The main one I can think of is this summer at Run 4 Roses in Louisville, we played a team from New Jersey, and one of the girls was like 6’6. Probably one of the tallest girls I’ve ever played against, and it was really just great to see kinda what it was like having to guard/adjust my shots and stuff against a girl more my size since I’m so used to playing with smaller girls.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
The main thing I would advise young athletes to do is just work hard, stay disciplined, and just don’t let the hard times deter you from where you want to go in life with this game if you truly love it.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I really want to go to any of the Hawaiian Islands or some tropical place with lots of beaches.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
My parents have always said that I used to sleep with a basketball when I was really young, but I think I really fell in love with it and realized I could be really good right around 4th or 5th grade.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Definitely Elena Delle Donne since I feel like our stories/ family experiences are super similar
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
I have a few different ones, but I think a big one would be some of the Dallas Wings games over the years. I’ve met most of the team and they’re just really inspiration for me.
