The Hun School’s Star Linebacker: Bryce Enlow
Bryce Enlow is a 2023 recruit who plays Linebacker at The Hun School of Princeton. Enlow is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the top Linebackers in the nation as well. In addition, Enlow is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of New Jersey and is listed among one of the top Linebackers in the state of New Jersey. He currently holds an offer from Valparaiso.
Growing up, wee you inspired by any NFL Players?
Growing up, I didn’t watch that much football but when I did I found myself loving to watch Ray Lewis play.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Pregame I listen to NBA YoungBoy, Kodak, and Meek Mill.
What is your offseason training like?
My offseason training consists mostly of workouts at my school, but on the side I get speed and agility work at TEST Football. Great place. Though this year, I ran track and that really got me into shape.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career had to have been my first interception. It was against St. Frances Academy and I dropped in the flat and the QB threw it right to me. I can’t describe how good it felt to catch it and run it back to gain some yards.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
Well I can’t really say one player as my team is loaded with elite talent as well as the other teams we play against. Though off the top of my tongue I would say Kamar Archie, Jacob Allen, Dante Barøne and Owen Wafle.
What was your reaction to getting your first offer?
At first I didn’t know what to think honestly, I was in shock. It wasn’t until I called my dad to tell him, emotion just came pouring out of me. I guess I just thought of all the work and sacrifice I had put in, and it finally paying off felt amazing.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food would have to be quesadillas. They’re simple yet delicious. Chipotle in my opinion has the best.
When did you realize you were talented at football?
I realized that I was talented in football during my third season playing for my AYF team. It was after a scrimmage where I had dominated on the d-line as that was where I was at the time. As I stepped into more of a leadership role on the team I realized that I could make a run in the sport so I kept with it.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero it would definitely be Jackie Robinson. The movie 42 brought me to tears about how Robinson had to deal with the mental and physical abuse directed at him for simply playing the sport he loved. Not only that but laying down the foundation for African American athletes in the future.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment had to have been the Ohio State v. Clemson game in the College Football Playoffs. Probably the most intense college game I have seen on tv in my life. To me, games like that is what college football is all about.
