The Future Bowling Green Wideout: Tae’Shaun Johnson
Tae’Shaun Johnson is a 3 Star recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Central Catholic High School. Johnson is ranked as a Top 40 recruit in the state of Ohio and, is a Top 10 Receiver in the state as well. Johnson is committed to play at Bowling Green next fall.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
My first inspiration in football was Micheal Vick. He was one of a kind.
What high school is your biggest rival?
My biggest rival would be St.Johns or Whitmer.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Dreams and Nightmare by Meek Mill
What is your offseason training like?
Offseason training consist of running a lot and getting my footwork together.
What is your favorite memory of your high school career?
My first high school touchdown which was a school record for the 2nd longest touchdown in school history.
What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?
My speed and my ball carrying vision.
What made Bowling Green stand out from other schools?
The relationship I had with the coaches was different from any of the other coaches.
What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Bowling Green?
I would most importantly want to go for my degree off the field and on the field I would want to win the MAC.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would want to meet Lebron James
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
I would have to say Lebron James block or the Odell Beckham Jr. one hand catch because it was on my birthday.
