Trey Martin is a 2027 recruit who plays Safety at Franklin Parish High School. Martin is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Safeties in the class as well. In addition, Martin is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Louisiana and is listed among one of the top Safeties in the state of Louisiana. He holds offers from schools such as Florida State, Houston and Tulane.

My role models are my parents.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I’d say Rod Wave—more of the “me against the world” type of music.
What are the strengths of your game?
The strengths of my game are probably my speed and physical ability.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory in my career would be playing with my little brother.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played against would be James Simon of Calvary Baptist. He’s now a part of the Texas Longhorns.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
My advice to an aspiring D1 athlete would be: don’t stress about offers. If you really want it, work hard—it’s going to pay off. Trust the process. All it takes is one coach to believe in you.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, it would be Miami, Florida.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football at 5 years old.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would love to meet Barry Sanders—he’s a very inspirational man.
