Diane is ranked as the 86th best recruit in the class of 2027 and is ranked as the #5 Defensive Tackle in the class as well. In addition, Diane is listed as the #1 recruit in the state of Minnesota. He is committed to play at Minnesota.

Who are some role models in your life?
Some role models are my parents, older brothers, and coaches. They’ve all shaped me into who I am on and off the field.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get hyped up?
I don’t have a favorite artist, but before games, my team and I always play “In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins. It gets us in the zone every time.

What are the strengths of your game?
When it comes to the D-line, I’d say my biggest strength is my pass rush.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
Getting a sack against one of our rivals is definitely at the top. There’s no better feeling than making a big play in a big game.

Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against?
The best player I’ve played against is Trey Boyd from Shakopee. He’s a tough competitor.

What advice would you give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Just keep working and focus on being consistent. When you stay consistent, the results will follow. And always give 100%.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d probably go to the Bahamas. It looks like the perfect place to relax and recharge.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I started playing football at 5 years old and have loved it ever since.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Myles Garrett. I’ve always looked up to him and the way he dominates on the field.

What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
The Minneapolis Miracle against the Saints.
