Jaret Frantz is a 3 Star recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Elyria Catholic. Frantz is ranked as a Top 300 Wide Receiver in the nation and is a Top 75 recruit in the state of Ohio. Jaret Frantz is committed to play at Ball State next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

I would say I haven’t really been inspired by any players but I would say I’m most like Calvin Johnson. A big receiver who comes down with every ball.

What high school is your biggest rival?

The biggest rival would be either Elyria High or Bay Village

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

 I usually listen to Tupac, J Cole, and Russ to get my mood right

What is your offseason training like?

My off season training consists of a ton of lifting and running routes

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

My favorite memory would be catching the game winner in our first playoff game in 8 years in front of my home fans.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

I would hope to translate my route running and IQ to the next level.

What made Ball State stand out from other schools?

Ball state had always shown the most love. They always new their plan for me as soon as they began recruiting me. It’s also an extremely tight-knit group that I couldn’t pass up playing with.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Ball State?

 I don’t have any personal goals yet on the field. Just to ball out with my guys. Off the field I want to get a degree in Criminal Justice.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Bo Jackson

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite moment as a fan was when the Broncos beat the Cam Newton Panthers.
