In addition, Jones is listed as a top 15 recruit in the state of New Jersey and is listed as the #3 Wide Receiver in the state of New Jersey. He holds offers from schools such as Penn State, Syracuse and Boston College.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Pregame, I try to tune everything out and relax my body by listening to rain sounds.
What are the strengths of your game?
Some of my strengths are my route running and my physicality.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite career memory is probably my first varsity catch. Seeing the field as a freshman and making that catch was just nostalgic.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with is probably Caleb Newsome. We played 7-on-7 together. He’s going to be a freshman at Lafayette this year, and he was always helping me and correcting my mistakes. The best player I’ve played against is Renick Doralis. He went to Don Bosco and now attends Rutgers.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Stay hungry and keep grinding when nobody’s watching.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could go anywhere, I’d want to go to Hawaii.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was 5 when I fell in love with the game—soon as I touched the field.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’d want to meet CeeDee Lamb or Calvin Johnson.
