Connor Bost is a 2024 recruit who plays Kicker at Holly Springs High School. Bost is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked as a top 90 Kicker in the class as well. In addition, Bost is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of North Carolina and is listed as the #3 Kicker in the state of North Carolina.
Who are some role models in your life?
My biggest role models in my life are both of my parents. They have pushed me to be who l am today.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to a lot of different stuff pregame, but my go to artists are 21 Savage and Lil Baby. My go to pregame song is Swag Surfin’.
What are the strengths of your game?
One of the main strengths of my game is the accuracy I have on my kicks. I also get the ball up very quick, making them difficult to block.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career was last year, I kicked a 34 yard field goal with 19 seconds left in the playoffs to send the game to overtime. We eventually won in double overtime, and it was the first playoff win in school history.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I have played with is Chase Christopher. He was our middle linebacker who is committed to Princeton.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
My advice would be to just work hard. Work as hard as you can now, so you won’t regret it later. Stay focused and work towards your goals no matter the challenges you face.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would probably travel to Hawaii. It just seems like a fun place to go with great scenery.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with the game probably around 7th grade, which was when I first started playing football. When I kicked for the first time, I was instantly hooked.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would want to meet Justin Tucker. He is so elite as a kicker, I’d love to get a few tips from him.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was when NC State came back from being down two scores against UNC with under a minute and a half left 2 seasons ago. I was at the game when that happened, and it was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen.
