Who are some role models in your life?
The role models in my life are my parents. They’ve helped me with everything—they’re so hardworking, and I would not be where I am without them.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
My pregame artists are Creed, Pop Smoke, and Kendrick Lamar.
What are the strengths of your game?
Some of the strengths in my game are my technique and footwork. I work hard to improve that every day.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career was when we played Campo Verde. I peeled off to block a safety and had a huge play.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve ever played with on the line was the senior ahead of me my freshman year, Ryan Marriott. He was the guy I looked up to and the player I model my game after today.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
My advice for anyone aspiring to be a D1 athlete is to work hard and be a sponge—absorb all the information you get from coaches, seniors, and anyone willing to give you good advice.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere in the world for a vacation, it would be Hawaii.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I truly fell in love with football in 8th grade.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Larry Allen is who I would want to meet. He was one of the first highlight videos my dad showed me when I told him I was playing O-line. His game is amazing, and I’d love to meet him.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
One of my favorite sports moments happened pretty recently—it was when Cam Skattebo threw that touchdown pass against Texas to give ASU hope to win that game.
