Who are some role models in your life?
My mom and my two older brothers. They’ve always pushed me and set the example for how to work hard and stay focused.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Lil Baby is my go-to before games. His energy gets me locked in.
What are the strengths of your game?
My quick get-off and hand fighting. I focus on exploding off the line and using my hands to control the matchup.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Breaking the all-time sack record last season. That was a big moment for me and something I’ll never forget.
Who is the best player you’ve ever played with or against?
Grant Houser from Wapak. He’s one of the toughest competitors I’ve faced.
What advice would you give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Get your name out there. Go to camps, text coaches, and market yourself. You’ve got to be your biggest promoter.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
The Bahamas. It’s beautiful and seems like the perfect place to relax.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was around 10. My brother was playing at the time, and I remember thinking, “That’s what I want to do for the rest of my life.”
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Aaron Donald. He’s my favorite player, and I study his game to learn how to be dominant like he is.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When Ohio State won the national championship last year.
