Jayden Bell is a 5 Star recruit who plays Defensive End at Brother Rice High School. Bell is ranked as the 17th best recruit in the class of 2028 and is ranked as the #3 Defensive End in the class as well. In addition, Bell is listed as the #2 recruit in the state of Michigan and is listed as the #1 Defensive End in the state of Michigan. He holds offers from schools such as Alabama, Pitt and Purdue.

Who are some role models in your life?
Definitely my mom and dad. They’ve always supported me and showed me what hard work looks like.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
A lot of NBA YoungBoy.

What are the strengths of your game?
My speed, especially when I’m lined up against the offensive line.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
When I was around 11, we were down 28–0 at halftime during Nationals and came back to win. That comeback taught me to never give up.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I’d probably say Samson Gash.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Control what you can. Get good grades and listen to your coaches — they won’t steer you wrong.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Japan. I’ve always been fascinated by the culture, the food, and how beautiful and clean it is.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I’d say about 9. Once I started playing, I knew it was what I wanted to do.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Stefon Diggs.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
Watching the Lions go from being one of the worst teams — if not the worst — in the NFL to making the playoffs.
