Jalen Hoyle is a 3 Star recruit who plays Safety at Dwight Morrow High School. Hoyle is ranked as a Top 90 Safety in the nation and is ranked as a Top 25 recruit in the state of New Jersey as well. In addition, Hoyle is listed as a Top 10 Defensive Back in the state of New Jersey and is listed as the #2 Safety in the state of New Jersey. Jalen Hoyle is committed to play at Virginia Tech next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Yes, I was inspired by Sean Taylor and Cam Newton.

What high school is your biggest rival?

Biggest rival is probably NV Demarest

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to my best friend a lot DOLLAZ and Meek Mill.

What is your offseason training like?

Whatever I felt I needed to work on from last season and it’s just very intense and completely focused I’m usually not on social media a lot during this time.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

My favorite memory is playing with my older brother my freshmen year.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

 My IQ definitely and just effort

What made Virginia Tech stand out from other schools?

VT just felt like home as soon as I stepped on campus and they treated me like a priority rather than other schools.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Virginia Tech?

I want to be able to have my name in the conversation as one of the best DBS to come out of VT and just become a better person and man off the field.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Lebron James

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Watching the Patriots come back and beat the Falcons in the Super Bowl.
