Koli Faaiu is a 3 Star recruit who plays Offensive Guard at North Creek High School. Faaiu is ranked as a Top 35 Offensive Guard in the nation and is ranked as a Top 15 recruit in the state of Washington. In addition, Faaiu is listed as the #2 Offensive Guard in the state of Washington. Koli Faaiu is committed to play at Utah next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Growing up, i was really inspired by Reggie White. He was an absolute monster on the field and watching his highlights always had me pumped for games.

What high school is your biggest rival?

I’d say our biggest rival high school is Bothell High School.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I will either play some Eminem, Tech Nine or I will play 2 songs continuously which are Adderall by Trap Nation or King of the Dead by XXXTentacion.

What is your offseason training like?

So I have 4 phases of offseason training where I build, then cut, build and then cut. I Weight lift 5 days a week for 2 hours a day and then have 30 mins of cardio. Saturday’s I will go for a morning run at my high school and Sunday’s I will always have off.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

My favorite memory of my high school career would be walking off the field, not talking any trash, but knowing that we just took the W.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

 I hope to transition it all, i want my college team to know who i am and let them know that this game is my life.

What made Utah stand out from other schools?

Utah has always been a dream school of mine. Utah’s culture is unlike anything I’ve seen, they greet you like family the instant you come in, the football program is absolutely amazing and the amount of poly’s that i would be able to bond with is unimaginable.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Utah?

I want to execute better organization skills and i wanna cut a little bit more weight, while getting stronger and faster.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Ray Lewis.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan would have to be watching the 49ers beat the Seahawks last year because my father and I are the only 49er fans in the house while the other half of my family are Seahawks fans.
