Luke Crudgington is a 2026 recruit who plays Kicker at The Woodlands High School. Crudgington is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked as the #5 Kicker in the class as well. In addition, Crudgington is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Texas an is listed as the #1 Kicker in the state of Texas.

Who are some role models in your life?

I would say my biggest role models are my parents and brother. My dad motivates me everyday, always checks in on me, and gives me good advice. My mom is my rock, she teaches me how to be a good person in the world. My brother is my best friend for life, he’s always in a good mood encouraging me to dream bigger everyday.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I like to listen to Travis Scott and Meek Mill.

What are the strengths of your game?

I believe one of my biggest strengths is my accuracy.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory was hitting a 45 yard field goal in the FBU All American Game.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played with so far is Julian Lewis.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Keep you head in the dirt and don’t let anyone bring you down. Keep moving and always be positive. Lastly, work harder than everyone around you.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would want to travel to The Philippines, that’s where my mom is from and learning about my family’s history and culture sounds very interesting.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I found the love for the game of football and started playing at 11 years old.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Lou Groza, he is the godfather of kicking and his award is every kicker’s dream.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

This year’s Tennessee versus Alabama game.
