Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
My current quarterback at Klein Oak, Chad Johnson, and Courtland Guillory, who plays for Oklahoma, are the two best players I’ve ever played with. The best player I’ve ever played against is Dillon Mitchell.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Understand that everyone’s time is different. Just because you’re not receiving the recognition you want now doesn’t mean it won’t come later. Keep your head down, stay focused, keep working, and keep God first. Every chance you get to work, go 100%, and in the end, you’ll get the results you want.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Tahiti.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
Watching my uncle play for the first time when I was four years old.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Barry Sanders.

What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
Last year, during the National Championship, when Jeremiah Smith caught that go ball on 3rd and 11 with 2 minutes left in the fourth to seal the game for Ohio State to win the natty! Me and my dad were going crazy at the house—it was a very memorable moment!
