Mason Love is a 2024 recruit who plays Punter at Park Hill South High School. Love is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked as a top 25 Punter in the class as well. In addition, Love is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Missouri and is listed as the #1 Punter in the state of Missouri. He currently holds offers from Army and Air Force.

Who are some role models in your life?

My parents are probably my biggest role models. Besides them it would be Michael Turk, the Oklahoma punter.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I like to listen to Rod Wave pregame, his music really calms me down and I focus on my form

What are the strengths of your game?

I can hit a really clean punt with great hang and distance consistently.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory is definitely being able to play with my older brother on varsity the past two years and going 11-0 with him

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

I played with Mudia Reuben last year, a 3 star receiver who started for Stanford as a true freshman. I had to play against Williams Nwaneri, a 5 star defensive lineman who almost blocked two of my punts

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Get in the weight room, the weight room helped me so much. Also work when no one is watching, not just when they are.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would want to travel to Iceland.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

5th grade, that was the year I realized that I could be pretty good and take it far.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Either Michael Turk or Bo Jackson

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Watching Patrick Mahomes come back from his ankle injury and win the Super Bowl.
