In addition, Bates is listed as the #3 recruit in the state of Colorado and is listed as the #1 Offensive Guard in the state of Colorado. Joshua Bates is committed to play at Oklahoma next fall.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
Growing up I loved watching Jeff Saturday on the colts. Also my dad played in the NFL so he definitely inspired me too.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Pre game- I love any Metallica song, and Masterpiece by DaBaby. Both of those are always great.
What is your offseason training like?
My off-season consists of two a days 5 days a week, in the gym and on the field conditioning.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career so far is definitely sophomore year when we won the state championship.
What was your reaction to getting your first offer?
My first offer was amazing. I definitely was shocked. Seeing all my hard work paying off was awesome to experience.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is chicken parm. I love Italian.
When did you realize you were talented at football?
I realized in the 2nd grade I was pretty good, but I never knew I would be this good
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would probably want to meet Jason kelce. He’s definitely my favorite player ever.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment is definitely the Broncos winning the Super Bowl. That was awesome.
