Tate Haver is a 3 Star recruit who plays Long Snapper at Oaks Christian High School. Haver is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the top Long Snappers in the nation as well. In addition, Haver is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of California and is listed as the #1 Long Snapper in the state of California. Tate Haver is committed to play at Texas next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Growing up I was inspired by Rams Long Snapper Jake McQuaide, as he was my mentor getting started back in 7th grade.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Pregame I listen to a lot of rap such as Playboi Carti and Travis Scott, and also a good amount of house music, but none in particular.

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason training is lifting 5-6 days a week and then snapping about 3 times a week with my punter.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory is probably my first game on varsity freshman year. I was one of 3 freshman on varsity, so it will definitely be one to remember

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played against is probably Justin Flowe. He was just an absolute monster compared to me, as I was a freshman. He also single handedly destroyed us which was crazy to watch.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

I was in shock but knew I had put in all the work to deserve it, and just knew I had to keep pushing to reach my dream school and it was just the start.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is probably sushi.

When did you realize you were talented at football?

I realized I was good at football freshman year when I was able to handle the pressure of varsity.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would want to meet David Ortiz or Jayson Tatum as I’m a huge Boston sports fan.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan is the Rams winning the Super Bowl as my step dad is the GM. Seeing all the hard work he had put into the team and watching it pay off was a once in a lifetime experience.
